RAID AMAZONES CHALLENGE SET TO TAKE ADVENTURE AND ACHIEVEMENT TOURISM IN SRI LANKA TO NEW HEIGHTS Adventure and ‘achievement’ tourism is taking hold all over the world—and one of the most challenging women-only events is coming to Sri Lanka. The annual Raid Amazones international event attracts 500–600 competitors for the week-long challenge that includes orienteering, cycling, canoeing, running, and archery.
