The National in Abu Dhabi reports that “as the newest member of oneworld – the third-largest global airline group – SriLankan Airlines has much to offer the business traveller”. The Gulf’s top English-language daily says of our national carrier that “being part of the alliance means travellers can earn and spend air miles across all the 14 members, which include Qatar Airways, British Airways and Qantas”. The smart and contemporary new A330-300 premium cabin has 27 business class seats, all with aisle access and two food services, “the first including tea-cured salmon fillet starters – full of flavour and beautifully presented”.
