COLOMBO TO STAGE MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA WITH SPECTACULAR 4TH ASIA PACIFIC CHOIR GAMES Choral music lovers will throng to Colombo in October when Sri Lanka’s capital city hosts the spectacular 4th Asia Pacific Choir Games, a feast of music and gala celebrations organized by INTERKULTUR of Germany. Thousands of international participants, chaperons and spectators will boost cultural tourism in citywide events organised by the Colombo Cultural Hub Trust and Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. The week-long festival, from October 21–28, of choral competitions, friendship concerts and gala concerts will take place at three venues—the Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Lionel Wendt Theatre, and Temple Trees, the official residence of Sri Lanka’s prime minister.
