SWEDISH CRIME WRITER ZAC O’YEAH RELATES A BRAINY CLOSE ENCOUNTER ON UNAWATUNA BEACH IN SRI LANKA When the BLink editor of The Hindu asked notorious Swedish crime novelist Zac O’Yeah to write about Sri Lanka, the conversation was probably short, and probably went something like this: “Zac, baby, Sri Lanka, 1,000 words, your usual off-the-wall style.” “OK.” Which explains the opening paragraph: “Not bad at all, I think to myself as I suck the juicy brains out of an especially succulent tiger prawn.
