Colonial-style tea-estate holiday bungalows owned by the Sri Lankan government are to be upgraded to attract Chinese tourists looking for a more authentic experience. The Ministry of Tourism also has romance in mind, saying that “Sri Lanka has always been an ideal destination for exotic wedding ceremonies”.
