Carrom, a sort of ‘strike and pocket’ coffee-table snooker played with checkers pieces and a nimble finger, is a favourite of Sri Lanka’s tuk-tuk drivers and anyone else with time to spare—and there’s quite a few of them! And a lot of them are about as good as its gets.
