NEARLY 100,000 CHINESE TOURISTS SO FAR THIS YEAR ADD TO THE 888,353 TOTAL, 16% UP ON SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR Nearly 100,000 Chinese tourists have visited Sri Lanka so far this year, with 17,462 in April making China the third largest market after India and the UK, the Chinese news agency Xinhua reports. Total tourist arrivals in April was 180,429, 12.6 up on the same period last year. By the end of April, visitors totaled 888,353, a 16.1 percent growth over last year.
