More good news for visitors to Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo, widely hailed as the fastest-growing tourists market in Asia, if not the world. The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS) has carried out another dengue prevention and clean-up campaign throughout the city, which was flooded by the last monsoon rains. It come after a country-wide anti-mosquito drive in the wake of global health fears prompted by the spread of Zika, a disease that causes sever cerebral deformities in unborn babies, and which is spread by the dengue mosquito.
